Internal Discussion with a difference

I have been part of many internal discussions that we have regularly comprising of the proj incharges and the management. Where its the usual stuff of first being taken to task on various issues and then at the end the usual pep talk about this and that blah blah blah…. at the end making us feel so miserable.

So when the intimation for this weeks meeting came and I saw that all the employees of ESolz were invited to join in, i thought “Now what are going totake us to task in front of juniors”. I was a bit skeptical.

I hesitantly sat down to todays meeting, but what enfolded in the meeting I had never contemplated. It simply wowed me.

It started of with a discussion on our new site www.esolz.net and the reason behind redesigning and redeveloping it, and ventured into different topics

including an article in today’s local newspaper. The idea behind the discussion being to promote logical thinking among us and to provide solutions which enhances the end product of the client.

The interaction was so lively and open and everybody participated in it whole heartedly. Everybody could grasp the idea of how each one of us could improve oneself.

I was pretty happy at this change in format from the usual one and conveyed my thoughts to my Boss.

My Boss looked up at me, smiled and said  “The weekly dose is yet to be delivered”

I came out of his chamber with a pale face   :(
